In automotive manufacturing, regional light curtains form a protective barrier through infrared beams to monitor the robot arm's operating area in real time. When a person or object intrudes, the light curtain triggers a signal to cause the robot arm to stop urgently to avoid collision damage, while ignoring small interference objects (such as hanging fibers) to ensure accurate detection.

The CYNDAR solution adopts a modular design, supports flexible configuration of optical axis spacing (40/80/200mm) and detection distance (30-30000mm), and is equipped with dual-channel redundant signals and anti-interference algorithms, with a lower failure rate than traditional light curtains. Users can monitor the status of the light curtain through PLC to adapt to the needs of intelligent factory upgrades.

Function: Monitor the working entrance of the robot arm over a large area to prevent personnel from mistakenly entering the automated assembly of automotive parts.
2. Installation and debugging
Light calibration: Ensure that the transmitter and receiver are strictly coaxial to avoid interference from ambient light (a sunshade can be used to assist debugging).
