The safety grating is also called the safety light curtain. It forms a protective grating through a group of infrared light beams. When the grating is blocked, the photoelectric protection device sends out a signal to control potentially dangerous machinery and equipment to stop working, so as to reduce the workers in the working environment. The possibility of being injured effectively protects the personal safety of operators. Mainly used in stamping machinery, shearing equipment, metal cutting equipment, automated assembly lines, automated welding lines, mechanical transmission and handling equipment, etc.
The selection of safety gratings is simple and easy to install, mainly for wiring. The common wiring systems are three-wire, five-wire, five-wire, and seven-wire. If it is a street PLC, you can connect the NPN and PNP lines directly to the PLC, and the light curtain can be energized normally. Generally, there will be small marks on the line sequence of the safety light curtain, which can be displayed intuitively. Wiring is very convenient!
The first type: When the controller is not used, the connection diagram of the transmitter and receiver is explained:
1. The 24V positive voltage power supply is connected to the 24Vdc voltage interface of the receiver, brown wire
2. The test and 0vDC grounding of the transmitter are yellow and blue wires respectively
3. The 0vdc and EDM ports of the receiver are grounded, and the distinction is between blue and green lines
4. The os1 and os2 of the receiver are used as output, and the black and white lines are connected to each other.
The second type: Description of the wiring method of the light curtain sensor with controller:
1. The safety light curtain controller passes the relay contact self-inspection 2. 220v AC is connected to the controller
3. Two relay outputs are output as the controller signal output
4. The light curtain output os1 and os2 are respectively connected to the black line and white line of the light curtain receiver
5. The contact self-checking EDM is connected to the light curtain receiver through the green wire
6. The positive 24vdc of the receiver power is connected to the controller through the brown wire, and the negative 0v is connected to the controller through the blue wire.
7. The light curtain transmitter is connected to the light curtain self-checking TEST switch point of the controller by the yellow wire. 8. The positive 24Vdc voltage of the light curtain transmitter is connected by the brown wire, and 0VdC is connected by the blue wire.
