The battery assembly workshop of Jidian New Energy Vehicles recently completed the safety system upgrade, and 2,000 square meters of high-sensitivity safety carpets covered the robot arm operation area. The equipment uses pressure sensing and photoelectric dual-mode detection technology (error <0.5 seconds). When a worker mistakenly enters a high-risk area, the power supply of the equipment is cut off within 0.3 seconds and an audible and visual alarm is triggered. According to Wang Zhenhua, the factory safety director, "In the three months since the start of production, there has been zero record of mechanical pinching accidents, and the annual work-related injury compensation expenditure has been reduced by 2.8 million yuan."
Industry experts pointed out that CYNDAR's safety mats have passed ISO13856-2 certification and have waterproof and oil-proof properties (IP67 grade), which are particularly suitable for welding, stamping and other scenarios. According to the data of the China Institute of Work Safety Science and Technology, the number of companies using safety carpets in industrial scenarios in 2024 increased by 47% over the previous year, and the global market size is expected to exceed US$2.2 billion in 2027.
