Certification does not match risk, and safety level is insufficient
Problem: Low-certification products (such as only EN ISO 13850 basic certification, not reaching SIL2/PLd) are used in high-risk scenarios (stamping, hazardous chemicals, etc.), and protection fails in the event of an accident.
Reason: Failure to select according to the equipment hazard level (PL/SIL); Misuse of "pseudo safety relays" without TÜV, SIL, etc. certification.
Solution:
Risk assessment (such as ISO 12100) determines the level (such as emergency stop requires PLd/SIL2 or above), and selects corresponding certified products (such as Xinda CYNDAR SRC106 model);
Prioritize authoritative certification, refuse no/low certification, and add additional certifications such as ATEX for special scenarios (such as explosion-proof)
