Damage to the physical structure of the safety touch edge will affect its normal function. The specific manifestations and causes are as follows:

(I) Damage to the appearance
The touch edge shell may have cracks, gaps or breaks, especially in areas that are often hit by collisions, friction or heavy objects. For example, the touch edge installed at the door of the workshop may have its shell broken due to collisions with forklifts entering and exiting.
(II) Deformation of the internal structure
The elastic elements and conductive parts inside the touch edge may be deformed if they are exposed to pressure, tension or high temperature for a long time. For example, the elastic rubber inside the touch edge near high-temperature equipment may melt and deform due to high temperature, affecting normal triggering.

(III) Loose connection parts
The connection parts between the touch edge and the mounting bracket, cable connector, etc. may become loose, causing the touch edge to shake and shift during operation, and unable to accurately trigger the shutdown signal. For example, the touch edge installed on equipment with large vibration may gradually loosen if the fixing screws are not tightened.
