If the signal in either channel is disconnected during operation, the safety relay immediately stops outputting to prevent a dangerous situation. Normal operation can only resume after both channels return to normal and a reset is performed. This design effectively maintains safe system operation in the event of a fault, preventing dangerous events such as accidental machine startup.
