What Are The Purchasing Principles Of Proximity Switches?

First of all, the choice of proximity switch must determine several factors


1. Is it inductive or capacitive (inductive sensing metal, capacitive sensing metal; wood, paper, oil, plastic and other tangible objects)

2. Is the appearance requirement round or square (what are the dimensions?)

3. Sensing distance

4. Sensing position: front sensing or upper sensing

5. Line length requirements (customized)

6. DC type or AC type (AC 2-wire, DC 3-wire)

7. Normally open or normally closed

Second, the significance of the main technical parameters of the proximity switch

1. Detection distance: The detected object moves to the detection surface of the proximity switch in the specified direction, and the distance between the detection object and the detection surface of the proximity switch when the switch is just moved.

2. Output form: NPN normally open, NPN normally closed, PNP normally open, PNP normally closed

3. Response frequency: the output frequency that the switch can respond to every second.

4. Working voltage: allowable voltage for normal work

5. Load capacity: allowable output current

6. Backtracking (differential distance): the difference between the detection distance and the return distance.
