The selection of safety carpet materials revolves around "functional adaptation" and "environmental tolerance", and each layer of materials is selected as needed:

Surface protection layer: resist damage and adapt to the environment
PU: wear-resistant, oil-resistant and chemical-resistant, suitable for frequent industrial rolling, and flexible and durable.
Rubber: non-slip, good elasticity, high and low temperature resistance, suitable for extreme environments with humid and oily pollution.
PVC: low cost, easy to process, acid and alkali resistant, meeting the cost-effectiveness requirements of medium protection.
Intermediate sensing layer: realize pressure-electrical signal conversion to ensure accuracy
Conductive rubber: good elasticity, conduction under pressure, rebound and disconnection, containing conductive particles, suitable for contact sensing.
Metal contacts/wires: copper and silver have good conductivity and fast signal transmission, embedded insulating substrate to prevent short circuit, matrix arrangement to prevent accidental touch, and suitable for matrix sensing.
Piezoelectric material: directly generate electrical signals by piezoelectric effect, fast response, PVDF film is flexible and durable, suitable for emergency scenarios.

Insulation and support layer: ensure signal stability and enhance structure
PET film: strong insulation to prevent accidental touch, high strength and tear resistance, protect the sensing layer.
Foam rubber/sponge: buffer and disperse pressure, protect components and make pressure evenly transmitted.
Fiberglass cloth: high strength and deformation resistance, extend life, suitable for heavy objects rolling.
Bottom material: fixed and anti-shifting
Rubber bottom: high friction, fits the ground, suitable for uneven scenes such as workshops.
Non-woven/knitted fabric: light and breathable, enhances adhesion, suitable for dry and flat scenes.
Core: reliable function (precise sensing), environmental adaptation (long-term durability), combined according to the scene.
