PSM safety mat
The tactile surface sensor provides the best protection for the safe area.
The purpose of surface sensors is to protect people from dangerous mobile units during automated manufacturing. They detect people and objects in the corresponding motion area. When someone steps on the pressure sensitive pad, the machine or equipment will slow down or shut down to a safe state.
Unit matching of non-isolated safety mat protection system
The non-isolated safety protection system is composed of a safety carpet in the protection area and a safety relay matched with it. A protective area can be a safety carpet or multiple safety carpets in series. Up to 5 to 6 safety mats can be connected in series in an area. The total area of the protected area shall not be greater than 3 to 4 square meters.
