Safety edge is a safety device used for edge protection of equipment. It mainly triggers signals by sensing external force extrusion to achieve safety protection functions such as emergency stop of equipment.
Its appearance usually has two forms: strip and circle. The strip is a long strip, similar to a tape, composed of a rubber jacket, an internal electrical layer and an aluminum alloy base, which can be bent to fit the edge of the equipment; the circle is a circular tube, composed of a rubber outer tube and an internal conductive element, which can sense impact in multiple directions. The colors are mostly black, gray, etc., and bright colors such as yellow and red are used in some occasions for easy identification. The size can be customized according to needs. It is widely used in the safety protection of industrial machinery, elevators and other equipment.
