Applications
Laser sensor avoids collision on crane boom
Port tire gantry cranes are the main operating machinery for specialized container terminal yards. The laser sensor XT-TOF-50H of the anti-collision device of the yard equipment is installed. This kind of ranging anti-collision device is not easy to be affected by the environment of light, noise, rain and snow, and the alarm and actual use effect is very good. Radar sensors prevent collisions between RTGs and between RTGs and obstacles in their lanes.
Case: Port cargo storage management system
Scenario description
Ports usually have a large amount of cargo storage. How to efficiently and accurately manage the storage of cargo is an important issue in port operation management. By using XD-TOF-50H laser radar, the shape, volume and position changes of the cargo pile can be monitored in real time, providing accurate data support for the storage and scheduling of cargo.
Application method
Install multiple XD-TOF-50H laser radars above the cargo storage area of the port to scan the cargo pile in all directions. The radar can output 225,000 point cloud data per second, which can accurately restore the three-dimensional shape of the cargo pile. The collected point cloud data is transmitted to the data processing center via Ethernet, and the data is analyzed and processed using special software to calculate the volume, location and other information of the cargo pile, and generate an intuitive three-dimensional visualization model. Port managers can use this model to understand the status of the cargo pile in real time and arrange the storage and scheduling of cargo reasonably.
