Use a camera to monitor and track open spaces horizontally
In some applications that require monitoring of fixed areas, such as monitoring of public areas such as airports, and safety warnings in specific areas such as camping, it is necessary to install a two-dimensional laser scanner for monitoring in the area; in actual applications, it is usually required to monitor all areas within the detection range of the monitoring equipment within the range of 0~360° around the monitoring equipment. The current monitoring system mainly includes two types: perimeter monitoring system and regional monitoring system, among which the perimeter monitoring system uses LiDAR for monitoring. Area monitoring systems usually install radars on a rotatable base. The radar can be rotated to achieve monitoring at various angles (280°) and can monitor multiple locations in the monitoring area. The XD-TOF-50H scanner has a range of up to 280°, which reduces the time interval between two scans when rotating.
